To celebrate the 250th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence, PBS Wisconsin is hosting a statewide initiative inspired by the documentary. The America@250 initiative enables small communities across Wisconsin to host conversations that will bring neighbors together to reflect on shared history—and imagine the country’s future.
Annette Numrich and Nancy Moriarty are part of an Eagle River civic engagement and conversation group. They’re bringing America@250 to the Demmer Library Tuesday June 9th at 9:30am. Participants will watch an episode of the Ken Burns documentary about the American Revolution specifically clips dealing with Military History and are invited to stay after for questions and refreshments.
