The Demmer Memorial Library is inviting the community to celebrate reading, learning, and local businesses during the first-ever Library Crawl Week, taking place June 1–5 throughout the community.

Library Crawl Week is designed to bring people together in fun and unexpected ways while highlighting some of the library’s collection and the wonderful local organizations that help make Three Lakes such a vibrant place to live and visit. All events are free to attend, with optional food and beverages available for purchase at participating locations.

The week begins Monday, June 1, with a relaxing Silent Book Club at Deja Brew at 9:00 a.m. Participants are encouraged to bring a book, grab a coffee, and enjoy a quiet morning of reading with fellow book lovers. Optional books discussions are to begin at 10:00 a.m.

On Tuesday, June 2, discover the perfect pairing of great books and cheese at The Cheese Market for our Cheese & Book Pairing event! Join us for a fun and flavorful time featuring curated cheese samples matched different books from the library. There’s sure to be a pairing to suit your taste. This is an open house style event from 1-3pm.

Wednesday, June 3, features the next installment in the library’s America 250: The Stories That Shaped Us series at Three Lakes Center for the Arts with a showing of The Patriot at 7:30 p.m. The film series explores key moments and themes in American history through popular cinema.

The fun continues Thursday, June 4, with Music Bingo at The Brew Station beginning at 7:00 p.m. Participants can test their musical knowledge, enjoy refreshments, and compete for bragging rights in this lively community event.

Library Crawl Week wraps up Friday, June 5, with Yoga in the Park at 11:00 a.m., offering participants a chance to relax and recharge outdoors. After yoga, attendees are welcome to continue unwinding with a visit to Maple Lake Shinery.
